Ruem

Leave your fear at the door and witness the spell.

Made and worn by spirits who refuse to settle.

Wardrobe for the flamboyant, the forgotten, the fabulous.

Occasionally irreverent but never a joke.

Chasing our shadows until we're wearing them.

Come and join as we outshine the sun.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the bespoke process and how long does a custom design take?

The bespoke process is a fairly simple  one at the heart.

1. Consult, measure, make choices

2. Sample creation and fitting 1 (sample might be made from final fabric if time doesn't allow muslin fitting)

3. Additional embellishments and final touches

4. Final Fitting and Take Home!

these 4 steps can take anywhere from a day to a year depending on the project.

Do you offer alterations for all types of clothing?

Yes, we offer alterations for a wide range of clothing items. Whether it's a dress, suit, or pants, we can tailor it to fit you perfectly. With experience in denim, corsetry and couture embroidery - even difficult appliqué replacements can sometimes become a breeze.

I never learned color the way they taught it.

I learned it by feel — through heat, weight, silence and space.

Through knowing when something is wrong before it looks right.

Everything crafted like a secret.

Sometimes armor. Sometimes bait. Sometimes the last thing someone wears before they become someone else.

My work doesn’t ask for attention — it demands recognition.

Not for flash, but for precision.

Not for noise, but for nerve.

Colorblind, yes — but never sightless.

I see through texture. Through tension. Through the way fabric holds a grudge or forgives a body.

This is Ruem.

Every piece is a suspect.

Every look is a survival.

Every thread, a decision you can’t unmake.
